The work addresses the physical and mental embodiment of the abject and the female ageing body. Temporality is inherent, with gravity taking over form and identity, as it does with an ageing, sagging body. Materials such as polyurethane foam, lead and aluminium are transformed into works imbued with a sense of both beauty and pathos.
